I recall a few conversations like this actually, one in particular being one between Garland and Sephiroth. They were spamming a bunch of blah-blah-blah that had absolutely nothing to do with anything, and it made me further hate Sephiroth's character for being an idiot with nothing to do other than to try and make people think that he's smart and in control of everything or something.

There were also several dialogue scenes that involved the nature of Garland, and about him being an eternal prisoner of time or something, yet at the same time they kept talking about how Cosmos' actions were actually going to end up stopping the endless battle/cycle for good, while other people said it would continue to go on forever including Garland's cycle. I really got highly irritated with everyone's inability to speak plainly and straight-forward. I know they're trying to sound mystical, philosophical, smart, and all that. But seriously, I feel like this script is a tall-tale sign of someone that tried way too hard.
