does this game ever get good

Do you think there is any point in learning or mastering the gameplay if you have no one to show it off to?.

If you just want to show off you gaming skills just upload the thing at youtube and everyone will see it..

The whole point of a fighting game is that you can go head to head with another player and test your skills against theirs.

Judging by this forum, there doesn't seem to be much competitive play for Dissidia Final Fantasy.

And if someone need to socialize that much that person can always form a nerd group, cosplay as FF characters, and start to punch each other in the face ..
