Don't confuse Sophitia with her more popular and younger sister, Cassandra! They are different in some ways. Sophitia is, or at least used to be, very loyal to Hephaestus, and relies on his power. Cassandra is not loyal at all and relies on her own strength. Sophitia is hesitant, unlike her sister. (SPOILER)In her Soul Calibur IV ending, she hesitates on destroying Soul Calibur, so Soul Edge tries to eat her first. However, in Cassandra's ending, Cassandra uses Soul Calibur to destroy Soul Edge without any hesitation.
