    Default Colouring Using Gimp

So I'm trying to start colouring my work using gimp.
I'm a complete newbie at this though, so I suck.
    Any tips guys?
I need help especially on doing shadows and colours on peoples eyes.
I made one myself for a change! Although you can probably tell that..

Get a wacom tablet and learn fine art techniques. A good place to go to is conceptart.org, which is a gold mine for help, tutorials and professional art work to be inspired by.

In fact, does Gimp have support for art tablets?

    >>> Just install the tablet`s driver, using the pencil is the same as using a mouse, it can work with any image editing program, even Paint..

I'm talking about pressure sensitivity. Not all graphics programs support that, and using a tablet without it is just lame.
