2001 Ford Mustang Cobra.
Just kidding, that's my dad's.
I have a 1998 Ford Taurus, very dark green to the point that it looks black.

Yeah, I had to pay for my own car, too. Well, most of it. I'm still on my first car and hoping it lasts me a while yet.
My parents paid for mine and then I said thanks and drove off into the sunset. Then I ran out of gas so I came crawling back and now they own my soul.
My parents bought my car. To be honest, I wish they would have let me pay for half like I had wanted to - that way I could have actually had a say in which car I was bought. I actually wanted a car that cost half the price, but it was really cute and perfect for a first car, but they said no, because it had a small ding, and my Dad doesn't like hatchbacks, or anything that's not colored tan or champagne. Meh. I can't complain - a free car, it had not one ding when I bought it, and the mileage is hella low, which is why they bought it in the first place, I guess.
I'm thinking of saving up for a new car and buying a real cute little thing, and giving that car to my brother. Only thing is that my car handles SO well. It has power steering and it's reeeeeeeeally fast. Like, BAM, we're going 90 without even realizing, fast. And if I get a cute little thing, like a fat-bum hatchback or a VW Bug, it'll handle more like a bumblebee than a dragonfly. The drawbacks of cute vs sleek.
You people with free gas are luuuucky though! I have to pay my own gas and pay at least part of my insurance (at least that was low, though, because I have this good student discount thing going on - lol Geico thinking being a good student has anything to do with driving skills?) - and my job is hella faraway from where I live, so that ends up being easy 30-40 dollars in gas a week. :yuck:
@Fonzizzle - That truck is hottttttttttt. Oh my god, if I had a truck like that my impatience for other drivers would turn into full-bridled road rage since I could just plow through everyone. Maybe it's good that I only have a sedan right now.
My current car was my 18th birthday present, but I pay for everything for it myself; insurance, tax, petrol and repairs .etc
I think I'm gonna get a new Ford KA in black when the new plates come out (1st of March). It's so cute.

1990 Gold Volvo something-or-other. I don't speak car xD
Cost me exactly $0 as these really nice people who used to come into the shop I worked in gave it to me. Their three daughters all learnt to drive in it so it's got a few dings and scratches, nothing too big.
However back in the day when I had my Learner's I accidentally left the magnetic L plate on the bonnet in the sun for awhile. So yeah it melted on and now I have this chunk of black rubber stuck to the front of my car. It kind of looks like a cross between an elephant's head and a map of Tasmania xD
if finding love is just a dance, proximity and chance, you will excuse me if i skip the masquerade
My parents gave me my first car, but it was my dad's car before he got his brand new truck at the time.
None! Obsessive Environmentalist say: Public Transport FTW!
Of course, Portland is renown for their amazing public transport. Were that not the case and I couldn't afford a Tesla Roadster (which I can't, I guess some sorta cheap bio diesel running thing.
