can we (being the penguins) play someone that isn't detroit in the finals this year? i'd like to see a pens/blackhawks final. philly will beat boston and promptly get swallowed by the two-headed monster. san jose will choke and detroit will use more necromancy to make it to the western division finals. chicago is just a great team and will take down vancouver.

I personally have a huge irrational hatred on for Crosby, which in turn biases me against the Penguins.
After the upset Montreal pulled of I am personally rooting for them to go all the way to the cup final. The way they played the last three games they earned so much respect for me. 41 shots blocked by players in a game and 41 saves. Wow.

On a side note, Vancouver is going to kick the Blackhawks *posterior* in the epic grudge rematch from last year. And win the cup.
Purely objective opinion.

Sorry pumpkin. As a Habs fan, I have to believe that we're going to win every game. Otherwise, there's no point watching hockey. Montreal in seven.

And in watching the Penguins play the Habs, at the Bell Center, you'll be able to witness the way a building erupts as 21,273 fans cheer on what is arguably the most historic franchise in professional sports. It's going to be a great series. I can't wait. Oh and..

WHAT IS UP WITH JORDAN STAAL. I am impressed. A severed tendon, and he's back on the ice six days later. I think he's my favorite Pittsburgh player. Much more awesome than Crosby, that embellishing whiner. DID YOU NOT SEE HIM HIT ME IN THE HEAD. Seriously, grow a pair.

Good thing the habs won, or I would have had to completely check out of hockey for the year. Washington and Pittsburgh down, go for the Cup!

Even discounting the fact that Canucks lost I am sure glad the Vancouver-Chicago series is over. Six games and they couldn't even get both teams in the building at the same time. Every game was decided by a minimum of three goals. wtf? I would have rather gone out in four close games than have two blowouts one way and four the other.
