    Default favourite soundtracks

so, personally, off the top of my head: the harder they come, this is england, amelie, & belleville rendezvous. and some of the paul cantelon songs from everything is illuminated are pretty brilliant.

Amelie, Advent Children, Rent...I'm drawing a blank. There's a few more film soundtracks that are really great, but I just can't think of the rest at the moment.

There are a lot of great soundtracks out there but my favourite after all these years is still The Land Before Time. Its combination of awe-inspiring beauty, raw power and thematic grace is stunning.

Oooh, there are many! The ones I can think of right now are:

    Hedwig & The Angry Inch
    Into The Wild
    Babel
    Brokeback Mountain
All Tarantino and Sofia Coppola movies
    Once
    Shortbus

...ugh, there are lots more out there.

Oh yeah, I loved the Kill Bill soundtrack and Jackie Brown. Breine reminded me! Another good one to mention is Little Miss Sunshine if not just for the Sufjan Stevens song. ALSO Dazed and Confused has a tight collection of 70s tunes.
