    Default Big Head Mode

Remember the days when every game and his dog had that legendary cheat, big head mode? Whatever happened to it? I turned around one day and realized that I haven't played a new game in years with big head mode.

So this thread is about things which used to be popular in games, which are no longer so, but which have not disappeared because they became obsolete.

Hahaha, oh yes. I guess that was an innocent time when kids didn't care what they unlocked as long as they could unlock something. I'm not sure how or why big heads became such a staple for the time, but it certainly seemed like it was, especially for sports' games.

Heh. I remember DK Mode from Goldeneye.

I... I can't think of any other examples of the topic.

Tekken 2 had it aswell of course, I think you could actually die, and then do it again as you continued to make the heads even bigger - so random.

NBA Jam is coming back soon, so we might see Big Head Mode again.

Yes! I loved the paintball cheat too.

I don't think many of the games I play anymore have cheats, or if they do I don't usually use them/have any interest. So, I guess personally, cheats as a whole have become obsolete, considering when I was a kid I loved them and used them constantly.

The time were people looked forward to cheating has gone now. Unless you count multiplayer.
Most games still have a god mode or infinite ammo but none of the exciting ones.

Big head mode and paintball mode in Goldeneye were my favorites.

I'm really depressed that almost no new games have any cheats that are just for s and giggles anymore, most don't have any cheats to play around with.

One of the Tony Hawk's games had "big head" mode as well as having Wolverine as a playable character.
