    I think some of the items in the battle square go up after some point in the game. mainly Omnislash...

    The amount of points required for each item at Battle Square goes down at certain increments. Important items are not removed, though.

    Don't Omnislash's points drop from 51200 to 32000?
    And AFAIK, the Fury Ring is removed from the battle square at the end of disc 1 - it's still buyable though.
