I like Paramore, though I'm not crazy about them. They're pretty talented for being so young, though. I think the singer is my age, or younger.

I'm pretty crazy for them, I don't necessarily think they're super talented, I just have an obsession with Hayley. I would pretty much follow anything she did.

I prefer Avrils music, though yeah, these two are hardly punk. Sure, they have punk-ish looks going on, but thats as far as it goes.

Btw, this thread wasn't about comparing music. I know what real punk is, and I'm not saying their groups are in this category. The industry tagged them as 'pop punk'... so, punkette is just a word to describe their style a little bit.

I got tired of Paramore FAST. And hating Avril just seems so trendy it really doesn't even interest me to analyze and find a reason to hate her. So I never did. Hayley's cute and all. But until this thread started discussing I didn't even know who she was. I guess they make good songs, but I can't listen to them. Avril's sang a lot of stuff I can relate to and I like her voice, and actually I like her looks too. Her personality gets me sometimes. But then again, I don't consider myself a fan by any means anyway. But I'd pick Avril. Think what you must :}

And edit: Yeah, those aren't really some of her most flattering pictures..

Those are really terrible pictures of both people. Hayley would be cute except for the fact that her nose is about the same size as my head and she looks stupid when she smiles. She has a nice face and can look pretty great in some photos. Avril is okay as well, but I think she's Canadian.
