Me doing anything remotely connected to woodworking. Just finished a cat house. It's as ugly as houses come, but at least I made it.

I think it's super cute! The color makes it looks cartoony, and Japanese-style decor will suit it. The little curtains you mentioned are called noren, which I only butt my know-it-all-self in to mention 'cause that should make it easier for you to find examples.

For my answer: I never thought I'd see Japan. But I'm going in April.

Hey, I just had to build it. And that's enough of a creative challenge for me. xD

My girlfriend will be adding all the odds and ends. She's thinking a little welcome mat (somehow) and those Japanese style curtains that only come down halfway down a doorway.

And sometime later down the track, I'll look into how I can fabricate a tiny little mailbox.

Don't forget to put up a cable box for the cat, maybe even some naughty magazines like PlayNekos or P.S.Y Galore!! XD XD
