Growing up there was an apartment/condo complex outside of town called "Whispering Pines" with a large sign on the highway entrance. The "i" and the "e" were frequently swapped to read "Whispering Penis".
I worked at the Homosassa Public Library over the summer, and it's a new library, so the county spent a lot of money making it look pretty and contemporary. The letters on the sign are big and metal and they're nailed on over a light, which makes it seem like they glow at night.
For about a week the sign read "Welcome to the Homo ass Public Library."
Only one way to find out.

Somebody spray painted HAMMERTIME on all of the stop signs in the area I live in once.
Ok, I admit it, I was amused.
I have not witnessed any really amusing graffiti. Though krissy did post my favorite from the intertubes.
There are a lot of stop signs that have been graffittied here, with Hammertime, and other things.
