I once saw this sign originally reading "Cykelparkering förbjuden", which translates to "Bicycle parking forbidden". Someone had whited out the "b" so that it read "Cykelparkering för juden", which translates to "Bicycle parking for the jew". I laughed a bit at that.

Growing up there was an apartment/condo complex outside of town called "Whispering Pines" with a large sign on the highway entrance. The "i" and the "e" were frequently swapped to read "Whispering Penis".

I worked at the Homosassa Public Library over the summer, and it's a new library, so the county spent a lot of money making it look pretty and contemporary. The letters on the sign are big and metal and they're nailed on over a light, which makes it seem like they glow at night.

For about a week the sign read "Welcome to the Homo ass Public Library."

I have not witnessed any really amusing graffiti. Though krissy did post my favorite from the intertubes.
