Been getting some match-specific lag in multiplayer which causes the game to be anywhere between annoying to unplayable. Strangely, despite none of the player makeup changing, it seems random between match changes, where some of the matches will run as smooth as silk to where others feel like I’m trying to strain molasses through cheesecloth (I’m hoping that works at describing it... I’ve never actually strained molasses through cheesecloth before, and maybe it’s a far more fluid task than I picture it to be, but... whatever!)

Besides that, so far so good in Single Player, which is all that matters! I have to call it quits for the night, as I have a hoedown to attend, but outlook is good and all the while I’m jigging with toothless cowgirls, I’ll be fantasizing about delving deeper into Rapture

I guess anything else goes without saying. If you liked Bioshock, then I imagine you already own Bioshock 2, are in the process of acquiring it, or recently received a frontal lobotomy. If you haven’t played Bioshock, go and buy it now!

edit: or rent it and clock it really fast so you can buy bioshock 2

Also all the collector’s editions were sold out before I got there because I was too much of a knucklehead to preorder. I also had to visit two stores because the clerk at the first store didn’t know how much it cost! :frust:

I doubt the game's bad, I just didn't have a lot of interest going in and there are other games coming out soon that it has to contend with. I'll definitely be getting Heavy Rain and probably get Battlefield Bad Company 2, and then it still has to contend with the likes of God of War III and FFXIII. With so many games coming out in such short order you'd swear it was Christmas.

I liked the original game, but I was somewhat put off of Bioshock 2 early on because it featured multiplayer. It might seem odd to want it less because it has multiplayer, but I always felt Bioshock was the sort of game that wouldn't be better if it had multiplayer. Especially when there are a lot of multiplayer games that probably do it a lot better. I'll get it eventually, but it just might be a while.

Ah, I enjoyed every bit of this game. If you loved the first Bioshock then you'll definitely adore this one.

Also, obtain winter grasp plasmid as quick as possible; you have no idea how much it helps in this game.

P.S. I wish you could restart with all your equipment and plasmids, but I guess that's not an option. :[

Dude, I clocked the game without really using anything besides Electro Bolt and Telekinesis like a thug (and Incinerate! on a few special occasions), and that was on Hard. Way easier than Bioshock in my “opinion.”

Also I was quite sad when (SPOILER)I witnessed that one particular fellow’s fate. I was hoping things would work out for him.
