PS3 Error

What's going on with the PS3 now? It seems that there are a lot of people having this problem, but I cannot find a solution.

Whenever I try to load Heavy Rain (It has happened with other trophy related games it would seem), the error message 'Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. The game will quit. 8001050F' is displayed, and then the game closes.

My Heavy Rain premium theme has become 'corrupted' and the date and time were reset to 31/12/1999 00:00:00.

What the hell is going on?

EDIT: Seems that the general idea is that Sony have screwed up completely, but no one knows for sure.

I so hate this idiotic error. &(/%(&%F&/%=F like Barret would say. Because of it I couldn't use my Final Fantasy XIII the whole day. And my trophies are gone...I hope I get them back.

Almost all fat-PS3s get this error. You can still play non-trophy-enabled games, though, but probably not games downloaded from PSN.
