Posting on the run! Bored during a two hour drive home so I wanted to check how the web browser on the iPhone works. It works nice!
Technology - what's your favorite modern day (probably unnecessary) tool?

It'll sound like a bit of a copout but I'll have to say the PC. Not for it's web browsing, or ability to play games though. Nope, I'm picking it solely because it let's me have an inexpensive home recording setup (or in the case of my Netbook, a mobile home recording setup). If I never saw the internet or a video game again I think I'd be just fine as long as I could still make music.

I do love my printing presses. Those pieces of machinery have been quite helpful to mankind.

I couldn’t be without my Ipod Touch anymore. It’s kept me occupied for so many hours especially at work![]()
If I was like Cloud I don't think I would have taken that test.
Changed to stop Jessweeee♪ from going insane. Is that better?
My electric hair clipper has never failed me when it comes to removing superfluous hair from my body! Digital tools always seem to disappoint in one way or another, so while I may fawn over well working details in them I find it hard to grow much affection for a digital product as a whole.
I love my sewing machine! I know, kind of lame compared to the other answers, but after spending hours sewing up a little bear plush toy by hand, I miss my sewing machine dearly. It makes it all so fast and neat stitched.
This list makes me happy. Very happy.![]()
Hahahaha that's the very thing I pointed out to Jess![]()
I'm very picky when it comes to e-paper
What I want is:
size of a full sheet. Whether or not I can bend it in a roll is irrelevant as long as it's A4/8.5x11"
color is optional
needs some way to annotate it!!!!!!!!!!
needs memory so I can store my whole textbooks on there
needs memory so I can store annotations.
I think that kind of e-paper + tabletpc blend is still a long ways offThe iPad could've been very close, but they tried to stay too close to the iPhone capabilities.
e-ink + touchscreen + microsd = ?????????? (maybe bluetooth/wifi if space allows)
I kinda want to build one now :O
Printing presses may be hip today, but I suspect in vitro meat will be my favorite thing ever once commercialized. :D
Computer.
everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
