world of ruin is ballin'. what is the smallest possible amount of characters to reclaim in WOR in order to beat the game? i've only beat vi once, and i got most characters back incidentally or on purpose. i think i forgot people like strago and relm and stuff, but they suck so w/e. i was angry that i had to get setzer and sabin back because i also dislike them.

I always get every character, rounding them up is most of the post game. Even the characters I don't like I still enjoy their dungeons.

I always beat the game with all of the characters, except for the one time I wanted to see the ending with just CES. Also, the first time I played it I might have missed Gogo or Umaro, but I'm not sure.

I am a fan of the CES challenge. It was fairly difficult.

I beat it all the time with different combinations. The best thing to do is beat it with all the characters. Then when you see two characters in each other's ending sequence, play again and don't get one of the characters in that sequence.

The part of the game got me so frustrated that I stopped trying to get everyone and just went ahead to the tower. I accidentally found Gogo and Locke. I saw where everyone was in the game before I left although I'm unsure if you could get Shadow again or not, but i got frustrated with trying to get the characters I could see, but for some reason wouldn't come with me so I left with.

Celes, Locke, Setzer, Sabin, Edgar, Gau, Gogo, Mog, and Umaro.

I purposely went looking for Mog and Umaro as I remember seeing them early on in the game. Seemed ridiculous to me that i had to get Gau the same way. The extra characters didn't seem worth it to me. They didn't add anything at all to the storyline. Man, was that part of the game frustrating.
