I never used the subtitles anyway. If I try to play FF13 from my bed across the room I end up straining my eyes trying to read the Paradigm list. In the end I'm just like 'screw this' and get up. I had the same trouble with Tekken 6. I don't really understand why you need small writing for HD, but whatevs. We'll probably all have HD tvs in a decade, anyway.
