Showing your back to the enemy... Overconfidence will destroy you. You are good when you have all 64 at rank 5.
Well, I'm about (SPOILER)to head back to Cocoon from Gran Pulse, but I want the growth egg. WHERE IS IT?! Yes, I beat the boss.
You won't beat the Neochu right now. But if you want to try I will tell you.
Take a chocobo and run to the area in the great plains were the circle of missions is. Near to this point there is an area you can jumb up with your chocobo. Then you can face the Ochu. Once you have faced the Ochu you can choose Mission 55 in Oerba. It's on the garden-like roof. Then you will find the Neochu near the spot where the Ochu is. The Neochu is very strong. It doesn't have too much Hit Points but it's techniques are strong enough at it has like Ochu monster with it which will come back after a while once you have defeated them. I recommend to use the "Death" spell of Vanille to beat the Neochu if you are not able to defeat it. The "Death" spell doesn't have to be a one-hit ko. It is also possible it only makes damage. If that's the case you have to try until it works.
I am in Orphan's Cradle now.

Just tell me. I already beat the original Ochu
chapter 12 has the most epic opening EVER
I absolutely loved... (SPOILER)Hope's eidolon scene. How they all interact with each other is so incredibly endearing, I've never seen characters, specifically Hope and Sazh, act so incredibly human.
Time to play on the Calm Lands - oops, I mean, Gran Pulse!
I can't read much of this thread as all I've done so far is kill a few marks and (obviously) a bunch of monsters. What I will say is that Gran Pulse is beautiful. I love how the animals are of all different sizes. The pack of elephant-like-thinks is amazing. <3
But. More importantly, and tragically. The death at the start of the chapter. I am not kidding when I say that I was mortified when that Chocobo was hunted by the pack of wolfy things. MORTIFIED. I mean, I'll laugh at Aeris dying, and it was a major part of a story, so it's understandable that they'd show it for emotive purposes (you know, like, how it makes you happy). BUT WHY WOULD THEY SHOW THIS?!?! IT IS A CHOCOBO.
I mean... I... I...

Bow before the mighty Javoo!
And those animals don't distinguish selectively. If it moves, they eat it.
So, like, I'm barely into chapter 11 and I'm reading the datalog and I read Vanille's character entry and when the smurf (SPOILER)did they say she turned into Ragnarok and that was her previous focus?!
Yes, that is what has been said later in chapter 11for now....
