Ok so im a little stuck having a few problems (SPOILER)in this lab type thing with carbunkle. There these huge tortoise things that shoot phantom beams at me. There solid!!! in Chapter 5. Any tips or tricks??

They move slowly, so they won't hurt you very often. When they move to come to attack, get into a healing formation. Just constantly go between an all ravager party (or a revager/ravagar/commando party) and a party with a healer, until he gets stagger. His armor will break off and he will be much easier to kill.

No. Nut an easier way to kill him is to debuff him

Yeah, using a saboteur will speed it up a little, but it still takes a while. XD

Staggering him works, if you're too lazy to do that the hard way, there isn't a much better time to crack out the deceptol.

Yeah this guy is a pain in the ass if you can't get a preemptive strike. I skipped those battles.

He's a pain even when you do have Pre-emptive.

*I edit my statement. He's susceptible to Poison. He's a pain when you don't have a Jammer with Poison.
