Optical disks are not suited for videogames, they are ok for music or movies because thats stuff you watch/hear occasionally, but videogames is something you use almost everyday, with 100+ hours of gameplay, etc, not to mention that most of them are targeted to children/teenagers and these folks really like to abuse things..
