Yeah, upgrade those weapons as much as possible. Don't bother with Sazh imo. If I recall correctly, I used Fang, Lightning, and hmmm was it hope? Yeah. You could always Aegisol buff before the battle and go straight to using a librascope item. If you're having a hard time, try L- Rav, F-Com, and hope as a constant medic. OH I almost forgot. Enter the battle with F- Sab, H- Med, and L- Med. Slow and slowga work on him. Then switch to the Para I mentionned first. Set up your paras so that You can switch between relentless assault and the one with sen, med, med. Switch back when you get scared. When he does destrudo, go to relentless assault immediately whatever shape your guys are in. Once he writhes in a tad of pain, go to your sab, med, med combo. Also have a paradigm for sab, syn, and sab. So you can buff up with shell again as necessary

I'm assuming your crystarium is full or very close for each of these characters. If that's not the case, do that first.

^ Thanks for that. I've been doing some grinding to get some Gil for upgrades and to max out the Crystarium. Is there any way to buy the aerosol sprays? I think I have one that restores TP but that's it.

Except that in any other FF when a bad guy is warning you that he's charging, you stop what you're doing, crap your diaper and brace yourself. There are a few exceptions, of course.

Sorry to double post, but it's from another quote that just happened now. No, there isn't. If you're all out, enter the battle, with sab, med, syn or sen, med, syn. I don't think I used any ____sols before the battle. I just buffed quickly after using librascope

Just jumped into the setup you described and got him down to ~10% health. Last Destrudo killed me. Will definately use this again after I do a bit of grinding. Thanks! :D

If you can, upgrade accessories that raise strength and magic more than the weapons. Your accessories can be used by any character, but weapons are character specific. Also, some weapon demand a LOT of EXP.
