Chapter smurfing 9. Wow dude.
Okay, so things just when to hell regardless... I'd like to point out first that whoever designed that chapter was just plain evil, I think I spent more time fighting monsters in that chapter than the last 3 combine. Luckily, I smurfing love this battle system. What was the longest chapter you've come across thus far?
Eleven.

11 by far. However, if you define longest by the longest amount of time I spent wishing "Jesus Christ please let this end," then 10.
Yeah, I liked nine. Ten was dull. Eleven is... well, I like it so far. I've only been playing it like ten hours. xD
I'm on 9 right now. So far I like it. You're right though, there are a smurf-load of battles.
Well from a actual hours spent on a chapter its Chapter 13 simply cuz i beat the game and I'm doing all the marks now and I'm on perma Chapter 13.
However me being a smartass aside Chapter 11.... its as long as Chapters 1-7 put together since i got side tracked with the marks >.>

Chapter 9 was where I spend some hours grinding to maximize everyone's Crystarium. T'was a good place to do so, thanks to those PSICOM dudes dropping those chips that sell for good money.
Chapter 10 felt the longest to me. I just wanted it to end and move on to chapter 11. That it looked kinda bland in there didn't help much.
Eleven. But it's a solid chapter, so I'm not complaining.
