What the heck is code, and how do you 'know' it?
FYI, I know nothing of computers, I only use it for music, forums and porn.
^Lol.
I know a bit of HTML and that's pretty much the extent of it. I did hack a Facebook app the other day to get a good score.![]()
Know well: Javascript (and the basics of JQuery), ActionScript 2 and 3, (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, XML
Know decently: Ruby, C#
Basic understanding: C++, ASP, Java (by extension of knowing C#)
This is a trap guys and gals, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!
I revise my answer. I know nothing about no program thingie, man. What is that, some sort of cheese?
*runs*
Have started teaching myself C, and will begin to teach myself Java soon. And if anyone knows of some decent books or websites for learning Java I'd be happy to hear about them.
I know HTML pretty well, and I'm learning Java right now. I plan on learning Ruby soon as well. I really should learn Javascript, CSS, and PHP, too. Either way I plan on learning as many different things as I can before I'm out of college.
Of the languages that I know...
My favourite is Ruby.
Most frequently used is PL/SQL.
Least favourite language is C#.
I find C to be the hardest.
And XHTML to be the easiest.
My strongest languages are Ruby, PHP and Java, in that order.![]()
I like python the best, it makes programming fun again.
Import soul
Import skynet
Learning HTML, and CSS for a project, a bit of C-Lite in a class, and if I want to be very lame, GML (Game Maker Language).
Funnily enough on my other computer monitor I have some C++ DirectX projects that I'm working on. I also know some C# and regrettably a bit of SQL databasing, which is all companies seem to want to do these days in terms of programming.![]()
