As you may or may not know I like interesting titles to my threads. Sometimes it only vaguely has to do with the topic but nonetheless it has some relation.
Tell me what makes a title great and what makes one boring? And any other opinions on thread titles!

I'll usually check the topic previews of every thread unless it's clearly something that I have no interest in.
I usually can't tell what it is by the title, since this forum is awesome, so I hover my mouse over the title, and look at the preview.
Then, I post.

Make them funny. The thread title is not the indication of whether I click on a thread or not; the mouse over is.
I saw there was a poll and thought that maybe you were asking for what the title of this thread should be.
But yeah, I'm fond of buttocks and it doesn't really matter what the title is as long as it interests me. I can't really say what interests me as far as threads go, though, because that information changes all the time! I will agree that post icons do give a thread a bit of extra flair, though.
I prefer to know what a thread is about by the title. If you can make it informative and creative then good for you.
