I love Nicholas Sparks' work because while he's a romance novelist, he isn't trashy about it (i.e. there isn't sex every other page), and his work isn't too predictable, at least, not to me. Bittersweet is ALWAYS thrown in, and there's always personal challenges for every one of the characters to overcome.

Right now, I'm reading The Last Song. I was psyched when I realized that it's going to be a movie, but when I found out Miley Cyrus played the lead girl and her boyfriend plays the lead guy (he's not too bad looking, honestly), I was a little more...Iffy about watching it. However, I don't think I'll let that stop me from watching it
