VIII did have some ugly and strange monster designs. The hockey ones were way out there. I thought it was the Galbadia's hockey team fighting us. i don't know which one takes the cake though.

Stylistically FFVIII has among my favorite monster designs. But I have a problem with Tiamat, not that the design is bad in of itself, but it's a palette swap of Bahamut while Tiamat has been usually portrayed as a multi-headed dragon.
y'know, none of these are even close to ridiculous as some of FFVII's "monsters". For instance, see hell house:
WTF? WHY IS THERE A HOUSE ATTACKING ME
I think FFVII had even more retarded enemies, to the point that it was tough to take it seriously.
WICKED-AWESOME SIG.
cavesofnarshe doesn't like when you steal their bandwidth
I thought the hell house was a great is completely random enemy. More random objects need to kill you. Spork boss encounter for FF XV!
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

I always imagined Eden is an organic version of a Garden. Hence 'Garden of Eden'. I do like her as well.
