I feel like anyone who was forced to change their name should have been compensated in some way. Not giving aabout making people change names they were no doubt attached to is such a dick move on SE's part.
Plus, I imagine name recognition goes a long way in a MMORPG when you've been playing for years.

I was kind of glad Kujata merged. Valefor is a cooler summon and name, imo... And it meant I could change my name, which I have wanted to do for years.
We did loose our linkshell name, though. Some idiot made tons of linkshells with the same names as Kujata Linkshells just to Trollga everyone, and what's worse is that our ls leader got the blame. =\
We're over it, though.
