My personal favorite and what I usually have is the stubble beard.

I remember I used to despise facial hair on myself and other guys. I'm not sure when that changed, but now I do prefer both myself and other guys to have . . . I'm not sure what it's called. It's longer than stubble, but shorter than a "trimmed beard" . . . or maybe it IS just a trimmed beard, but EXTREMELY trimmed.

I prefer clean shaven. I can stand a bit of stubble, but anything longer makes me heave. My friend is growing a goatee and it feels like goat pubes

Stubble, short/trimmed beard and everything in between are my favourites. I really like facial hair. A full beard can also look really good.

But really, any kind of beard can look good - it just depends on the person and what his look is.

I probably have what would be considered something between stubble and short/trimmed beard myself. I don't like being clean shaven.

I used to have a chinstrap, but now I pretty much have permanent 5 o'clock shadow because I dislike taking a razor to my face.

I like facial hair, even if it's just silly. BJ has a full short beard and it's adorable. People are always like "Why don't you make him shave it?" assuming I don't like it, but I do!

How do you know?

I've had a goatee since I was 15 (now 21). I've only shaven it once, and that was so I could be Bob Saget for halloween.

And by the way the picture of a "goatee" is inaccurate, goatees don't include a moustache. Thats called a Van Dyke.
