I have a question! If we're caught with a post with less than 12 words are we eliminated on the spot, or will we be able to edit stuff in until the deadline? xD
EDIT:
Also will posts in Frocobo Stables count?

How about this one: http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-sq...ther-newb.html, http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-sq...zzle-game.html, http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-sq...-everyone.html, http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-sq...edia-game.html, http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-sq...mp-thread.html
It's a month dead newbie thread, and in an very old thread a staff member once stated that a month old thread in GC was necroposting, which was back when GC and wonder square were one thing. Others don't even make sense!
Oh my god. xDD
This is the funniest thing I've seen on EoFF in a long time.
Posts in Frocobo Stables don't count. That's too easy.
If you make a post less than twelve words and can edit and fix it before someone reports it you're in the clear. If they report it you're screwed 'cause even if I'm AFK I get reported posts sent to my phone.
That was difficult to keep up with! Let me know if I've made any errors. I'm on break.
ETA: AK, I'm not gonna do your job for you (your job being doing my job for me, stfu). Either report the posts are don't.
Wow I go and take a bubble bath and you're all warning like crazy xP
I don't really want to get caught up in it, but already two members are immune, and with the spamming done by Baloki, I'm guessing there will be eight more by the time the 24 hours are up. This is giving me a headache.
Wow good job you guys...
I guess I'm not so vigilant after all... T_T
Its 341am and I'm dead tired.. You think I can sleep a lil Shlup... how many posts to I have anyhow.
HOTROD"Lets go for a spin you and I"
I just like to throw out a personal opinion on the topic of bumping. If the thread difference in posts is one that is capable to be seen on the first page of the forum default # of pages in sub forum, I don't think it should count. This sets up so threads in something like the FF Tactics forum needs to have not had a post in like, a year (in the FFIII forum even more than that!) however, in the more posted in forums (FFVIII) it needs to be just a few months, and in very busy sections like Wonder Square and General Chat, a month is usually sufficient to be a "bump" or "necro post".
Nah, I like the standard one month-ish rule. It's like someone said in feedback once, reviving an old thread is like hearing a bunch of people talk in a room, then going in that room and saying something relevant to the conversation after everyone's already left. You're standing alone in a room talking to yourself. In the less popular forums such as Compilation of FFVII, the room is very rarely used is all. The concept is the same!
I don't know what you two are worrying about. You already have immunity. Let us lowly competitors work that out.
...In that case, posting in almost any thread in the FFIII forum is considered bumping. Sure, you shouldn't be posting in threads at the bottom of the page (or the middle of the pack there for that matter) in the FFIII could be bumping, but closing the thread is really necessary in a forum like that, if it promotes even the teeniest bit of activity there, good! I was exaggerating when commenting about posting in year-old threads, but there's a point where lack of activity should allow 3, or 4 months to slide. A little visual, This is the ninth thread in that forum, even less before round 2's threadfest, and it's 4 months old.
EDIT: We're just discussing interpretations of the rules AK.
I will concede that making a new thread when there is one on the page that isn't very far down looks odd.
Doing dishes with my phone on the counter, seeing all the little reported posts pop up... I giggled.
Anyway, the rule isn't black and white. Sometimes a necropost is deemed valid. Use your judgment.
ANYWAY
Aeirith's Knight digs up another Baloki necropost. And another. And another. And another. 8 points.
Aerith's Knight has earned immunity.
Goldenboko has attempted to report a post in defiance of the March 21st time travel rule, and has earned one strike under part four.
I'm going to the post office.
