That last link there wasn't really amusing, but then again, neither was the first one.

This made me more interested in the move than anything else:
PlayStation Move recap: what you missed from the Engadget Show -- Joystiq
Well the Eye Toy copied cameras, and cameras copies eyes, and eyes copy everything and send that copy to your brain.
So, the Move is a rip-off of everything.
Yes that was KIND of my point.
Though the Eyetoy was more than a camera (though it really wasnt very good).
See for yourself.
SHOCKER!!!
YouTube - Wii didn't start the fire ( PlayStation Move history lesson)
YouTube - PlayStation Move - Wii - Project Natal - EyeToy - Motion Control Games Who copied Who?
IMO they are all stupid and just as bad as each other, still, I think the qoute in my signature applies very well here.
So Wii games are a copy of the Eyetoy games (which in itself are probably copied from other games), sony patented a wand like thing in 2004, then sony completely copies the Wiimote design, but with buttons and a stupid glowing orb. Unless it offers something useful for actual game design, I hope it tanks, just like I hoped the Wii would tank.

Coming out to retail eight days prior seems hardly relevant when the Sixaxis was announced what, eight months after the Wiimote's motion sensing was announced at TGS '05? Eyetoy doesn't seem really comparable when talking about the Wiimote/Sixaxis though; more along the lines of Natal and Move. Especially since Guardian XIII said motion controller, not motion sensing.
Not that any of that really matters. Who cares who can stake their claim as the first to do something, I'm more interested in who can do it the best.
Boy am I an unfunny ass.
Anyone want to look at my post?
