Breaking up is never easy, and being the one abandoned is really hard. Three years ago my ex broke up with me, and I was working from my place at the time so I could listen to a lot of music. For nearly 2 months, I was continuously listening to these 2 guys : Damien Rice and Glen Hansard (from the movie "Once", band "The Frames" & "The Swell Season"). Deeply sad and dark songs that can hurt a lot, but it seemed that's what I needed to do.

My question : Do you listen to sad songs when a situation like this happens ? Or do you totally try to do the opposite and listen to songs that can cheer you up ?!
