I tell all of my friends who start playing it not to read anything about it, including the game's box and manual so when the whole TV thing comes up it's like "Wha..."
Anytime I'm about to pick up a game I think will be awesome I always read at least the backstory and character stuff first

I'm very excited about this. I've (shamefully) never played P3 or 4, but I love SMT games. I'm really looking forward to eventually playing Strange Journey some time this summer.
You need to pick up P3 and P4, they are both excellent games and chances are P5 will be in their style.

Oh, I plan to, believe me. I actually still need to play through DDS2, as well. It's just I have this fancy shmancy new PS3 and I'm pretty enamored by it at the moment. Once the sparkle wears off I'll probably try to track down P3 or 4 on Craigslist.
You should really finish DDS2. It's one of my favorite games.
