    I quite like Generator Defence (Gametype Network Test 1) because it's pretty damn awesome sort of team objective game. Could be interesting on a big team scale imho. Though theres several things I think need changing:
    • Spartans running in to another spartan and hurting themselves/each other. I don't know why this happens but even if explained as their shields interfere with each other I figure that's a crappy mechanism. It must be a bug/glitch.
    • Damage dealt to the generators as Elites is too low for ranged weapons, melee attacks do far more damage to them than anything else including the rocket launcher and the spartan laser or grenades. I found the chain gun turret is useful if ripped off from Charlie and used to shoot them since damage is worked per bullet on target and the turret has no bloom growth but is "bloomed" already, considering how easily you can chew up a target if you're constantly guaranteed a hit with this gun it seems almost overpowered, though the 200 rounds and the slow carry speed of the gun does help the spartans defend it. However, Dennis and Paul can testify to my chewing my way right through Charlie and then destroying Bravo in short order because they were pushing for Bravo anyway forcing the Spartans to "camp the doors" I just stood back, aimed and let rip for a double splatter kill medal.
    • Lack of DMR on map when the needle rifle is available. Ok the NR is underpowered imho. However the Spartans should have access to the DMR though spawning with it much like the shotgun, grenade launcher and the energy sword for the elites should be forbidden. As far as I am concerned these guns are all power weapons (with exception to the DMR which is a battle rifle replacement) the shogun spawns are easily superior to the sword spawns for most games and the grenade launcher needs to be removed from the spawns.
    • The UNSC are trying to hold these generators and the Covenant are trying to destroy them. I feel that the map doesn't adequately reflect this, if I was Covenant general I'd position light weight portable support weapons on the field to provide support fire as the elites approach I would also as a UNSC general put more turrets in the general area of Alpha site and perhaps on the roof of Bravo. These could be countered with the positioning of more purple barricades the covenant seem fond of.
