I like the "staff leaving" idea, especially with the buildup we already have for free from people actually leaving. The rate of leavings should increase gradually as we get closer, and BoB gradually grow more and more insane (stressed out from the workload increase, frantically looking for new people to knight, maybe even trying to host some ridiculously rushed bastardisation of Next Cid's Knight). I think it could be really fun, even after people catch on!
