Have you considered staying demoted on April 1st, until the very last hour of the day (Hawaii time, or something like that)?
It would certainly throw things off a bit, especially if many suspect this as an April Fools joke.
But, maybe that's not the point of all this. It's just fun to see Raistlin's bluff get called.
I'm all for doing a belated April Fools joke out of this (Like April 2nd just so it doesn't get too out of hand). Not only to make the joke more entertaining and throw off the people who guessed it but to make next year more exciting cause they'll never be able to know what is what for next April Fools.

I'm trying to avoid lying to the nice people directly myself. I certainly wouldn't use those threads to stir up more drama or rumors, but if you want to say something to them then go for it.
