I don't like this. Considering this has been discovered so early the chances of this DLC actually being DLC is slimmed. If they have artwork and informed Gamestop of this already probably earlier than this, then they must surely already have the characters designed already, but not necessarily complete. As with SF4 they're most likely going to be on the disc when the game comes out, but you'll have to pay to unlock them. That sounds like some money grubbing bull to me. DLC stands for down-loadable content, not disc locked content. DLC should be for things that the company could not get into the game by time of release.

I would fine with this if it meant that the people who buy the collector's edition would only get the characters early while the rest can get them shortly later for free, but even then that's still not right.

It easily could stand for disc locked content though.

As much as I hate the idea of making people pay later for something that's already finished and included on the disc though, I must say that that's a pretty nice looking special edition package. If I have the money at the time I may have to snag it.

I feel like C. Viper should be a surprise, but I remember hearing about how she was one of the most well-liked characters by one of the head honchos at Capcom. Storm was an obvious shoe-in.
