I remember Rose having an attack that opened the freakin gates of HELL. And it didn't do very good damage.

Being a huge Sailor Moon fan at the time, I loved the transformations!
It was pretty great back when I played it, even though the battle system felt incredibly limited. I also found the ending very unsatisfying. Mainly because I really didn't like the idea of (SPOILER)Rose dying.
Well, you guys have convinced me. I've tried playing through it a few times but couldn't get past the bad translation, but I'm gonna give it another try.
It's probably worth sticking with, because it is a fairly fun game despite the flaws.
I'll tell you one thing, I could never get the top level of the transformation moves, the one where the thing spins around? Hard as balls.
Man getting me nostalgic up in this piece. I always wanted this game. I got to try a demo of it back in the day some place. It might've been in a gamestop when they didn't use to be everywhere. This was also around the time when I had the chance to play a demo of Threads of Fate, which I'm sure was at the Gamestop in the mall. Man I have to get this.
It was completely badass when all 3 characters had their dragoon bar thingy full and you could transform them all at the same time. I remember that saving my ass a few times. Oh and it was always epic.
The television commercial for the game was amusing from what I recall. The main villain gets decapitated and starts whining about Dart cutting his head off.

Man, watching those really made me want to play it again. Come one PSN, dammit.
The localization/script is weird, and the whoosh before battles takes forever, but I love the battle system and music. This game should definitely be remade.
Lloyd was an odd villain. I liked him. I liked how he was "Hooded Man" for so long, as if we couldn't figure out who that was. My god, you could see the outline of his clothes in the "Hooded Man" art in the game book.
I didn't play very far into it because I found the battle system to be completely ridiculous. If I remember right I stopped just after breaking out of prison. I didn't enjoy timing button pushes to a spinning square at all.
