I didn't mind the game that much. I received some small joy out of it; not really from the plot though... I liked some of the locations, and it was interesting shooting like that in a FF plot.

For 10 dollars.. I'd buy it. The flaws of the game are well documented, but I think it's worth the small amount of money to experience the follow-up story to FFVII and AC for yourself.

Lemme say this: Of all the Final Fantasy characters that needed their own spin-off game: Vincent is not one of them.

My main issue was also just feeling like playing it wasted my time, so I didn't really think it was worth playing it for free at a friends. If you think you'll like it a little though $10 is probably as cheap as you'll find it. You can always return it also.
