Few questions (spoilers, i guess?)

Do jobs levels do anything for the none spell casters...?
And, is there anything worth stealing in the game with the theif class?

The only thing I know the only thing worth steeling comes off an optional boss you can access 3/4 of the way through the game. You have to be job level 79 at a minimum. (Gunganir Lance)

I think job levels on spell casters increase damage on spells, just like they increase damage on melee.
