X-2 is the most annoying, repetitive, and girly FF ever, not to mention its ridiculous storyline. But goddamnit if it isn't fun just because of the costume concept of jobs and abilities.
This is the only reason I kept playing, I just wanted to see if I could Ash Ketchem syle it and collect 'em all.
Why do you hate/love X-2? Was it even worth Enix's time to make this game?

I think this sums it up for me -- although, the battle system and jobs got on my nerves.
The biggest appeal for me to keep going in this game (when I used to play it) was to see how Yuna's journey to find Tidus went, and also, as you mentioned, I love Spira. In fact, Spira is one of the biggest reasons why I love FFX so much.

I like the battle system and the dress spheres, but I hate the fact that there aren't any guys you can play as. I feel like the game was just trying to make me more feminine. :(

-Decent voice-acting
-The world
-Great non-linear gameplay and control over the story
-Good music
As FF go, you could do a lot worse. *cough FFVIII cough* At least this game is fun and the storyline isn't forced.Having a smaller cast of characters also means you don't have 1...2....3...4...worthless undeveloped characters tagging along.
I also gotta question why people are getting their panties in a twist about a game that came out nearly 7 years ago. Two threads made in a short span of time just to complain about a game that's over half-a-decade old?

First off, it's not an 'FF' it's a sequel to an FF.
Secondly, I funking love this game. The battle system and the job system makes everything worthwhile and the story although not upto scratch with other FFs (it doesn't need to be for aforementioned reasons) I still liked it. If the femininity puts you off then be a man and suck the smurf up! Final Fantasy isn't exclusively for men!!!

I hate the nonlinearity and the percentage feature. The music is also mediocre except for at a few good moments. The battle system is great. The characters irritate me with every sentence.
