4 AM/PM, basically 1 - 12 hours (ergo, the need for AM/PM), like on your clock, that's let's say normal.
04:00, 16:00 or basically the clock from 1-24 hours, that's military time.

Thankyou! I went originally to get a surface tragus, but she couldn't clamp enough so said she didn't want to pierce it. So I got the nape instead, it's very fresh, it's as of yesterday!
I only found out as she was about to pierce, however, that my piercers have a policy whereby they don't freeze and numb the skin before piercing a surface! I DID NOT KNOW THIS, so I felt all of it.
In ireland we use the 24-hour clock but SAY it like a 12 hour clock. I'd read 15:00 and tell people it's three o'clock. Why? NO IDEA.

If you're being nit-picky, I don't think it's military time as it doesn't have the leading 0 in front of the 1 & 4.And written military time shouldn't include the colon. It'd just be 0100 and 0400. I think.
