Ronnie James Dio is no longer with us.

Discuss how metal and awesome this guy was.

Dio has rocked for a long, long time. I guess he passed the torch?

But seriously, that's too bad. Gonna go listen to some Holy Diver now.

I was so sad when I heard this, but I did see him when he came down here and sang with Black Sabbath a few years back, his voice was still amazing as well.

    It's a real shame.

I, too, saw him in concert when he was playing with Sabbath. Megadeth played too, it was amazing.

I'll miss him, he was a legend.

Was never a big fan but he had a great metal voice. Was looking forward to seeing open for Iron Maiden this summer. RIP RJD.
I will never be a memory.

Been listening to Holy Diver like it's my job the past few days. We've lost one of the Godfathers of metal.

I saw a Tenacious D special on VH1 a few years ago where Dio came out and said he would not be passing the torch. I laughed, I cried, I turned the channel.

My local rock station was playing all the Dio stuff they had the other day. A great way to remember a legend. I think I'll add some Sabbath to my iPod later.
