Cream Cheese is the best kind of topping. Butter will do in a super pinch though.
Someone once told me that one bagel = 5 slices of bread. And so after that I stopped eating bagels.
But I love butter and jam on my toast. Cream cheese should just be reserved for cheesecake. I had no idea bagels were a regional thing. You can find them in most bakeries, coffee shops, etc, on the west coast.
Good thing I'm not a huge fan of them, then. :x

There is nothing so grand as a bite of bagel.
Especially when overloaded with cream cheese. Or sauced in melted butter. Or made into a PB&J. Or and sandwich. Or a pizza.
Bagel is best.

From a Jewish standpoint meat and cheese is not Kosher. But aside from that your previous post implies that you feel bagels are missing something that sandwiches have.Adding meat and cheese is doing it wrong?
Well, sandwiches are better than bagels. So maybe, just maybe.
