Thread: Hanging Edge?

    Default Hanging Edge?

New guy here so sorry if this has been asked before. I'm having a little trouble understanding the concept of the hanging edge. Why is the sky green there? Or is the sky not really green and the hanging edge is some sort of indoor structure? What is the green stuff? I understand the concept of Cocoon and Phoenix being in the center of all of it, but where does the hanging edge fit into all of this? Thanks for any help.

The Hanged Edge is an indoor structure like you've thought. It is a great hangar.

By the way - in fantasy worlds it is no wonder if the colour of the sky is different to ours.

Ah, I see. That would make sense. Any idea what the green stuff is though? And I guess that all the floating things are ships of some sort?

like one winged said, hanging edge is a giant indoor hangar-type structure. it is also located at the point where the hole in Cocoon was blasted hundreds of years again, which lends itself to the name of the area. i think the reason that the whole are has a greenish sort of tint is because the machinery and lighting there is all green, not because the sky is green. the sky in cocoon is very much like our own - blue
as for what all the different structures in there are and what their purpose is...ships maybe, but ya got me.

    Mayor Dobe:What hours is it?
    Flo: 15:30
Mayor Dobe:Hey do you wanna to send the Estharians to Centra or what?
    Flo:Ok,let it be on 3:45

*shrugs* It's just a colour, I don't think it's a reference to anything. They just decided that colour would be the most fitting for the scenery, I imagine.
    Bow before the mighty Javoo!
