I haven't used YM in years, and it was always inferior to AIM and MSN anyway. Hell, I don't even remember my YM SN.

You are wrong! WRONG. Unless you can show me how to be visible to one person but not everyone else in MSN.
I just got it and might I say I hate it. If anyone gets a request from someone caled GARETH smurfING LOUD NOISES COLLINS, it's me.
MSN still wins
Of all the clients I've used Yahoo! did video calling the best. I don't need it anymore as of two weeks ago though!
she moved in with Mogi, of course!
My bandwith!
Well what if I want to be invisible to say four people? I don't have anything to say to my other contacts, but maybe they have something to say to me! I'd have to message them and be like "k I am on right now, but invisible. Okay I'm logging off now, I'm not just invisible." every time. It's awkward and tedious! Plus it just looks really pretentious when you talk to someone when you're invisible. Like, "who the smurf do you think you are? Are you so important that you have to be ninja all the time?"
The obvious solution is just to be invisible so often that the people you talk to when invisible all the time just message you anyway to see if you're on. This is how Jojo and I communicated over MSN for months. It worked fine!
Good grief. That's easy.
Right Click on the contact you want to be Invisible to > Stealth Mode > Appear Permanently Offline to _______, or if you want, Appear Online to ______, which is the opposite, since you'll appear online to them, even if you're Invisible!
EDIT: Oh, you meant MSN. Okay nevermind what I've said, since I thought this thread was about Yahoo! Messenger, not MSN!![]()
I like Y!M because people don't come up with stupid long names that can change constantly. I also don't like how MSN integrates with other things on my PC. I also don't like the way that voice chat works on it, with all those dumb sound files being thrown around. I also don't like the general look of it, whilst I do like the general look of Y!M. I also like how it alerts me to when I get emails on my Y! ID's email address which I've used for 13 years now. Basically I've never had a decent reason to use MSN, ever. Everyone on MSN can be contacted by myself on Y!M anyway, I have AIM for those who use that, if I want to do webcam or voice chat then Y!M has a better system for it than MSN does, and it's not stupid annoying MSN in general.
The only downside of Y!M is the occasional bot, but that's mostly because I have a Yahoo! Profile. And they only come about once every six months or so. And I have to admit when they do IM me it's pretty funny. So I guess that's not really a downside. Okay, the only downside is the archive and how you can't Ctrl+F in it. That's pretty crap.
But the important thing, which this thread is about, is voice conferences. Y!M has awesome voice conferences whilst MSN's ones are crap. I know about MSN's ones because I listen to the stuff that gets thrown around on Danielle's MSN whenever you lot invite her to them.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
