Really?! Huzzah! This was a great game! Although if they're remaking the second one...does that mean they already remade the first one? Ah well, either way. I can't wait to get my hands on the DS copy....

I'm not wild about the new redesign of the characters... mostly cause I felt Lufia II had bitching designs to begin with. I mean

    (SPOILER)

    Original
    Vs.
    (SPOILER)
    New design

Its like Cecil being redesigned to look like Squall. Still, I did really love Lufia 2, so I will probably pick it up. I wish they had redone Lufia 1 though, cause that game needs a remake more cause the original feels archaic compared to Lufia 2 and well the Lufia's that came afterwards... are better left forgotten.

Man, I don't know about the redesigns, but as a nostalgia whore I'm obligated to get this.

I really hope that thing isn't the new Dual Blade. And seeing what these new designs are like, I fear for the horror that is to befall Gades and his epically awesome sword.

    oh, you haven't seen?

    Dual Blade and Sinistrals

I hope they freaking go into more about who Arek is.

    1) God dammit. (To the sinestrals.)

    2) GOD DAM! (To the duel blade)

And I'll laugh if they had completely forgotten about Poor Ared. It's not like they ever told you anything about him in any of the four games they made. Only twice in 2 is he menitoned, and once in 3, and only as a passing comment there.

I predict they will either drop Arek completely, or keep the mystrey alive in this game.

Maybe they will make a true sequel?
