What is the green symbol supposed to be that you can see the party flying through as they re-enter Cocoon. It can also be seen right before they land on Eden at the Grand Prix. Is that a fal'cie or something?

I've always assumed it was some sort of magical gate dealie. Dunno for sure though.
yeah i think it's like a teleportation gate.
I always thought it was used to line up the ship that was about to land/dock.
I think you can also see it at the end of chapter 10.

Hrm...I actually think it is in some way a manifestation of the Goddess Etro. If you read the Analect detailing this particular deity, it shows an image of this green energy. Or, it could be some transportation thingy.
