Also what rubah said. I like unconventional fonts though. If I weren't so lazy I'd probably use something like Corbel, Skia, Nyala, or Candara for all my posts here because Verdana is seen everywhere on the Internet these days. I actually do use them on boards that allow me to set my own font globally (which is pretty much every other board I post on nowadays except FFOF and Freethought Forum) but I'm too lazy to do it manually for every post I make (although there was a time when I wasn't).

I LOVE monospaced fonts. The ones that are not drive me crazy
Especially in notepad where this doesn't apply

That said, I always use verdana at the office because that's the font my ticketing software uses. And it makes sense when I copy/paste (avoids needing to change the font after when my excel goes all haywire from random font pasting)

See the little feet on the top of second T? That's a serif. San-serif have none.
