Tough game, man. I once managed to get all the way to the penultimate boss (that flying dragon that bounces off the wall) without losing a life. That was on normal difficulty though.

There re have been a couple of times too when me and a friend completed it (just barely) on the hardest difficulty. A proud moment.

Recently started my third attempt to finally beat Final Fantasy III.
I started playing the Nintendo DS version 2 times, but both times I lost my motivation after a while. I'm now playing the PSP version and nothing will stop me from finally beating the game this time, muahahaaa! (>.<)

I'm glad that the core set is associated with the plot of the latest edition (compared to the previous ones) and these cards can be played in Standard right out of the box - FINALLY!
